Further, the term "indigenous" is becoming less relevant as people are - through, either preference or necessity - emigrating away from their customary and traditional lands. And, state ownership of territory and resources is seizing property rights away from individual citizens; and, therein securing these fundamental entitlements into the authority of government who, too often, then places these lands and resources into the private holdings of a very few - the 1%ers, who are reputed to have control of the majority of global wealth.
Many traditional indigenous peoples have regarded this planet as being the fundamental property of the Creator; managed through the wisdom of Mother Earth; and, therein, provided to Peoples for stewardship; thus eliminating the opportunity for elitists to secure an overwhelming lobby over the general population.
And, if this trend of concentration of wealth continues in its present trend; then, the very few will become "ONE"
Hence, through this wider awareness of the limited capability of global natural resources to continue to provide for our existing 7 Billion population - which, now, cannot generate sufficient food (especially, rice; which feeds 60% of this world's people) for the prevailing population; how are governing bodies to fashion a global plan to manage resources and territories when we are expecting ab 18 - 20 billion population before the end of this century ?
This question begs answers other than those which are achieved either through natural disasters, famine, war; or, mass voluntary suicide ... And, therein, we have arrived at this juncture when the Gray Citizens Power Brigade is more than a necessity - it does appear that those who remain healthy and have achieved an age of entitled retirement will have to become substantially more proactive in an effort to dissolve the elitist planners' gambit to secure survival beyond the many.
